The Making of the Koi Pond Display Shirt
Share
This shirt wasn’t meant to be a product — it started as a display piece to show what’s possible with vinyl and a bit of imagination.
I dropped it off at Rainbow Vinyl Co, thinking it’d just sit on the wall. But within a day, they’d cleared space and hung it up front and centre. Turns out, people were into it — customers started asking about it, and it actually helped them sell more printable HTV.
To help tell the story, I put together a card that listed all the materials used — types of vinyl, colours, tools, and design apps. Everything that went into it was listed so people could see how it all came together.
What started as a quiet little project turned into one of the best bits of feedback I’ve ever received. Not just for the shirt — but for the whole idea behind Radecals:
Design boldly. Share the process. Show what’s possible.
Big thanks to Rainbow Vinyl Co for the support — and to everyone who’s been hyped about what we’re building.
